Moodle is great tool for teachers.  It allows teachers to create a virtual learning environment (VLE) for students.  To read more about Moodle, check out https://moodle.org/about/.  This site provides much information about the basics of Moodle, as well as how it can be used in the classroom.

Weber School District would like all teachers to have some part of their curriculum available in a VLE for the 2013-2014 school year.  Because of this, the district has created their own form of Moodle which will be the topic for our final professional development session for the 2012-2013 school year.  This professional development training will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013.

To access the school districts version of Moodle go to www.online.wsd.net.  To log in you will enter your district username and password.  The district has already set up a course for each subject that you teach.  Students who are registered in your class are automatically available to view what you publish.  This site is strictly for teachers and current students.  Past students and parents do not have access.
